Andrew MJanuari 27, 2023Golden Barley Hotel is probably a great place given the right circumstances.There is a good range of beers on tap and live music gives it a nice atmosphere.However, it is not very family friendly.

- This place rocks. Monday night trivia, awesome beer garden, top notch Beef Rendang, great range of beer & cider. Gotta be the best pub in the inner-west!

- JacquesSeptember 22, 2014Nice bistrol tucked away in the back of a standard sydney pub. Beef burger aioli was great but the rest was disappointing, bun too thick & beef patty dry. Chips good but stock pub standard.
- We have Wifi at the Barley!! From the pointy end of the front bar, to the furthest point of the beer garden.
Those without kids, I suggest staying in the front bar, as the back can get noisy with kids
As long as you stay away from all the kids outside its a pretty good pub.
drunken noodles is a great dish and describes the patrons beautifully.
- Young Henry's Real Ale - just arrived on tap. Enjoy!
Decent food, but geezusss! So many screaming, yelling and crying children!
