Justin Ordoveza: The menudo is excellent. It’s all you can eat but the first bowl is big. The portions here are big. It’s Tex mex but it’s solid Mexican food. There is parking in the back. They do have happy hour

Justin Ordoveza: This is a very hipster joint. The green eggs is a bright and vibrant dish that has some nice acidity. There is only street parking. The baked goods and coffee are good.
Justin Ordoveza: They make dumplings on site. The chive pockets are good too. They specialize in food from the city of Dong Bei. They have lots of dumplings. The parking lot can be packed from the 101 noodle.
Justin Ordoveza: Great Uyghur food. The big plate chicken is good and a bit spicy, I wish they put more noodles. It’s very homey. Also the hot Uyghur tea is sweetened. They do have a parking lot.

Justin Ordoveza: It’s a small restaurant. They specialize in Bun bo hue (middle Vietnamese beef soup) and Bun rieu (crab soup with beef meatballs). This is the original restaurant reviewed by Jonathan Gold.
Justin Ordoveza: This is a Roman Catholic retreat center run by the Salesian order. There is a small chapel and despite being in the suburbs there is a lot of nature.
Justin Ordoveza: Pay by the pound hot pot. It’s $11.99 per pound of items then you choose a soup base which is included. There is parking in the back and a public parking lot a few yards away.

Justin Ordoveza: The nasi uduk is a great introduction to Indonesian food. It’s carb heavy with both rice and potatoes. There’s a lot of textures. There is street parking.
