Anita JesenaDesember 18, 2015It's great to take friends to if you need some meat in the mix to satiate the group. The sampler was more than enough for me and my hungry sister. I'll try to swing by next time I'm in the area.- The veggie sampler is the most delicious thing I have had there. You can eat it with the supplied bread or a fork.
My favorite Ethiopian food in San Francisco. Sweet family operation, always friendly. Excellent Shuro, and 100% Teff (gluten free) injera!

Bill HendrixApril 29, 2018great place in a very casual atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and offered suggestions. Prices were moderate and portions quite good.
Not sure what to have? Try starting with the veggie sampler and some doro wot!
Adriano ChiarettaAgustus 14, 2014The vegetarian combo was OK. The paying process is awkward... Had to pay in advance, including tip. Service was slow, and the place is located where I would not recommend wondering around at night.
Coffee is strong and good. But seems not many people order it, so expect 5+ min. wait in AM.

There's a veggie combo for 2 on the menu, but they'll make a small combo for 1 if you ask.
- get the Shuro! And the all-teff (gluten free) injera!
