    If you're in the mood for a breakfast drink, ask for an "OC 7." It's a combo of orange juice, orange vodka, and champagne. It's not currently on the menu, but some bartenders know it.

    Pancakes, at least the cornmeal buttermilk, are enough for two! Not sure if they'd let you split an order tho. Beef hash is mostly potatoes, but it still works; damn good.

    Good ambiance & service overshadowed by subpar food experience. Breakfast of bacon, eggs and hash browns had to be prepared 3 times (not hot) before canceling order altogether.

    Huevos Rancheros was super delicious. French toast was just ok, but the pancakes had a great texture.

    Quality keeps going down. Must be one of few brunch places in the city that charges to refill coffee...walk a few blocks and find a better place in adams morgan or dupont.

    Check this out if you are in the area! They have a wide assortment of food (burgers, pizza, breakfast, & other stuff). It was a favorite hangout when I lived in DC. Runs about $8 to $10 as I recall.

    Fantastic food. I recommend the OC Royale... Soooo good. Also, they make some pretty awesome Cuban coffee.

    After cleaning tables, an employee began making my tea using the same dirty hands to take a tea bag and scoop tea into it. When I asked if he wouldn’t mind washing first, he said he DID mind.

    Monday night and we ate outside. I got the burger/draft beer Monday night special for $12--not bad. However the service was painfully slow. It took forever to even get my beer (a good 5 min at least).

    Try the tofu scramble. Much better than the normal tofu and turmeric you see other places. The tahini makes it creamy. Best I've ever had.

    You can get a red Bordeaux by the glass! Most of the food is pedestrian but the red mussels were superb.

    Go to Open City and get a soy chai. Dunk the animal crackers in the chai before eating! For dinner, try the Fresh Pie pizza or the Mussels with red sauce.

    Skip this place if you're looking for a good happy hour. They only offer specials if you're seated AT the bar (not even in the bar area) and the bar holds less than 15 people, so it's always full.
