Peasholm Park is a lovely Chinese themed park with a lake where you can hire a boat, a bandstand in the middle of the lake that hosts concerts, cafes, places to sit and of course, Navel Warfare.
Walk along the north bay and see the lovely statue of Freddie Gilroy. Or if you are booked into one of our sea view rooms you can see him from your window.
You can walk to take the bus X93 or 93 that will get you to Whitby. This is a lovely sea side town with quaint streets to walk through, a harbour and loads of place for fish and chips.
