love this little town. it is a beautiful place to visit. we rented a house there for 5 weeks and used it as base camp. make sure you hit up pappa grappa for some of the most amazing gelato.

hire a driver to pick you up and take your to your hostel, hotel, or apartment. it is amazing to ride with a roman pro.
don't eat anywhere or make purchases near the city entrance. you will pay double or triple. walk a block.
if you are not wearing the appropriate clothing, you will be seen in paper clothing in all your pictures. men and women. also. you can make confession in any language. climb the duomo.
if it is raining in rome and you are close to the #pantheon, be sure to pop in. the rain coming in through the oculus is really beautiful.
it's old school here, and at many of the churches in italy. women should have their head and shoulders covered. no short skirts.

take the walk from the town of vinci to the birth house of leonardo. it is about a 3k walk, uphill to the house. you won't regret it. amazing.
