- Air Canada needs Gogo in their life. I'd pay for wifi over free old movies. International terminal is way cooler with First Nations art.
- One of the best (if not the best) airport with native art. Have your camera out when leaving the plane
- Always have hope! I embarrassingly left my iPad in a baggage cart last night AND the great folks at YVR (you know who you are!) turned my IPad into Lost and Found! Thank you Thank you Thank you!
- Even though this airport is generally great, there is a shortage of toilets. During the morning rush there are line ups and the stalls tend to get dirty quick. Even the AC lounge only has 1 stall.

- Love YVR!! It's clean, nicely decorated, and its got FREE WiFi! Wished there were more eatery options, especially after going through security.
- The airport has free wifi and lots of charging stations for your electronics. It's electronic heaven!

- normally you go through US immigration and customs here at YVR, except for flights leaving after 8pm, then you do it when you land. (E gates are US-bound only with pre-clearance: D gates are int'l)
- Marios KokkodisOktober 18, 2011Go to gate 39 if u have time...great comfortable sits, great view, power outlets! In general, this terminal is def the best I've seen so far!
- After travelling this year around the US and Europe, I can honestly say this is still the best airport. FREE wireless Internet and free luggage carts. Plus an amazing duty free store.
- There are power outlets at every food court bar seating areas and at most gate seating (except Gate C28-C35 unless along the windows/pillars and Tim Hortons eating area.)

- Matthew TwohigJuli 17, 2012The airport Fairmont is super convenient or early morning flights. Remember that you clear US customs before leaving Canada, so you need to be there earlier.
- best airport on the continent by far.. EXCEPT worst baggage handlers perhaps in the world. average wait for luggage is 30+ minutes. i imagine the baggage handlers strive for YVR to fail. seems so.

- Avoid the $5 airport transit surcharge by buying a pack of tickets from the 7eleven downstairs in domestic

- Throw out your fruit before you get to customs, got the third degree for carrying a banana, offered to throw it out. Was informed it MUST BE confiscated!! ;)

- You can go 100% paperless here! Scan your Itinerary QR code to the check-in. They email or text your boarding pass to you. Show the attendants your mobile and they scan it there.

- Chris LaiApril 12, 2015The duty free clerk will tell you NRT doesn't accept STEB bags for Intl transfer, so you can't purchase. BUT, NRT does accept STEB bags, just make sure you don't open it before your final destination.
