Nice intimate outdoor venue. Cool biblical architecture that speaks to the odd history of the place. Only problem is that you can hear the noise from the Bowl if performances are at the same time.
Pretty decent tap selection with good food options. A bit annoying that you have to keep getting up to order at the bar but the outdoor seating is great.
Beautiful park with tons of fascinating history and trails to explore. And the view over the Hudson from Bemus Height is damn nice.

Gorgeous property that feels way off the grid (right down to the pot farming). Two well done cabins and miles of seclusion amongst the redwoods and vineyards.
Good easy hike that gets the heart pumping and rewards you with views over the heart of the San Gabriels. The newly rebuilt lookout tower is nicely done and provides some shade underneath.
Excellent little park with lots of short fun trails. If the lots are full park on highway 1 and just walk in - it’s not as far as it seems on the map. Head to the south trail and work clockwise.
Wonderful short loop trail in amongst an old grove of great green cypress trees. Nice views looking back to Carmel from the cliffs as the surf crashes beneath you.
Beach is a bit out of the way but it’s a huge empty swath of sand to make your own and play on. Cool big dunes as well.
