eric bornemann: Great trail along the creek bed that leads to an old mine that you can check out. Cool history of the San Gabriel Mountains. Do the loop trail to get a workout and some nice views.

eric bornemann: Worth the drive for the big view over the San Andreas Fault and across to Palm Springs.
30. Red Rock Canyon State Park
eric bornemann: Awesome bit of the southwest only 90 minutes from LA. Nice desert hikes with beautiful scenery. Also where the shot “The Big Country”
