Avoid this airport if you can. So busy with no room to move or to find a seat. Speedy through security but the departures area needs way more room for the amount of people flooding through.
This place looks like a post-apocalyptic refugee centre with absolutely no place to sit or sleep, poor restaurant choices and no sockets or wi-fi for public!Beware the gates of RyanAir hell lay here!
Although a certain airline doesn't make it very clear, check "which" Düsseldorf you're flying to. Air Berlin does the main one. The other airline doesn't and also flys at -+ the same time! Careful!!
Arrive at least 30 mins ahead of what you think you need. Security unbelievably slow. BAA duty free shops must suffer as a result. You would think management would deal with this passenger experience!
Over crowdedairport. The ladies toilet is misplaced right next to arrival, it is dirty and not modern. Not suitable for elderly people or people with temper. Uncomfortable benches.
Sólo hay dos maneras de ir del aeropuerto a la ciudad, una es en tren y otra es bus. Cualquiera intenten agrandarla desde antes para evitar hacer filas y esperar.
1 thing to print/printer won't accept coins? It's cheaper to pay a quid for the computers next to the printer, then just £1 for the print. Assuming its only one page you're printing...
Security is more strict than in any other airport I have ever been (liquids, shoes, computers and what not) and it takes forever to go through so make sure you arrive in time!
I have never seen such a mess. It took me 40 min to go to the security because the queues are so badly organised. If you have a chance to choose another place to your outbound flight, do it!
Come at least 3 hours before your flight. Took me 40 minutes to have a boarding pass, 15 minutes wating for my bag after passing him at the clearence machine and about 20 minutes running to my gate
London Stansted Airport serves 200 destinations across Europe, Middle East and Africa. It is the fourth busiest airport in the UK after Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester handling 28 million passengers in 2018.
