    Can't say I've had a single pleasant experience at this airport. Ryanair however makes things even worse as soon as you approach their gates.

    Free wifi with The Cloud, but you have to register first. Shopping options are limited while the refurbishment is going on.

    Come early, especially during the school holidays otherwise you'll have to fight a massive school group to the check in desk.

    CUIDADO. Controle de bagagens de mão tão rigoroso que chega a ser ridículo. Não deixaram passar um globo de neve daquele com pontos turísticos nem uma garruchinha de brinquedo de plástico. Chateada!

    UK Border control needs a reality check - hire more staff to deal with the shocking queues - truly abysmal welcoming into the country - embarrassed to be British when the queues are this long

    Security was an absolute scrum. No one seemed to have a clue what was going on. And that was transferring to a domestic flight.

    Water is an absolute rip off everywhere +£1.69 a bottle) but there's free drinking water taps by the toilets by gate 46 and in arrivals luggage collection hall. There should be more of them!

    Too long queues for non EU citizens at passport control. Otherwise nice airport. There is good exchange office with many many currencies right after passport control.
